If former President Donald Trump does not win his third bid for the White House, there will not be a fourth.
Trump, the Republican presidential candidate, revealed those plans during an interview on Sinclair Broadcast Group’s “Full Measure,” which aired Sunday morning.
The interview was hosted by Sharyl Attkisson, who asked Trump if he would run again in four years if he came up short in November, per The Baltimore Sun.
“No, I don’t. No, I don’t. I think that that will be, that will be it,” Trump said. “I don’t see that at all. I think that hopefully we’re gonna be successful.”
Previously, Trump defeated Hillary Clinton in 2016, then lost in 2020 to President Joe Biden.
Now, he is running against Vice President Kamala Harris for the Oval Office.
Polls are expecting the battleground states to be the deciding factor given the two candidates have been neck and neck to date.
Harris appears to have the advantage with the abortion issue. Trump is more favorable on the border and immigration, according to Fox News.
The economy is the top issue on voters’ minds when choosing the next president.
