It’s all or nothing for President Donald Trump a as far as Iran is concerned.
The president took to Truth Social Friday morning — less thank a week after the U.S. and Israel launched their attack — to call for Iran’s unconditional surrender, per The Hill.
“There will be no deal with Iran except UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER!” Trump wrote on the social media platform.
This latest demand by Trump follows his comments Thursday when he said he wanted to be involved in choosing Iran’s next leader.
Iran’s top official, Ayatollah Ali Khamanei, and much of the country’s senior leadership, have been assassinated.
Trump reiterated that in his post and said the U.S. and partners will reconstruct the country.
“After that, and the selection of a GREAT & ACCEPTABLE Leader(s), we, and many of our wonderful and very brave allies and partners, will work tirelessly to bring Iran back from the brink of destruction, making it economically bigger, better, and stronger than ever before,” he wrote.
‘IRAN WILL HAVE A GREAT FUTURE. “MAKE IRAN GREAT AGAIN (MIGA!).’ Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP,” the president added.
The war has also involved regional neighbors in the fighting, disrupted the global economy, killed scores of people and stranded hundreds of thousands of travelers.
