Former President Donald Trump is denying ever calling dead U.S. soldiers “suckers” and “losers.”

Trump took to his social media platform, Truth Social, to refute stories alleging he said those words, per The Hill.

“Obviously, I never said that dead Soldiers are ‘losers and suckers.’ Who would say such a thing?” Trump posted. He called the accusation “made up disinformation” coming from his opponents.

“Anytime you see that despicable FAKE statement used, remember that it comes from the FASCIST SCUM that is destroying our Country,” Trump wrote..

President Joe Biden stopped at Aisne-Marne American Cemetery in France Sunday that Trump did not when he visited France in 2018.

More than 2,200 U.S. soldiers who fought in World War I are buried there.

Biden did not mention Trump during the stop, it was viewed as a  rebuke to Trump.

Trump skipped a visit to the cemetery in 2018. The White House said bad weather kept Trump away.

But “The Atlantic” reported in 2020 that Trump asked staffers, “Why should I go to that cemetery? It’s filled with losers.”

The magazine also reported Trump later referred to war dead as “suckers” for getting killed.

Trump has denied making the remarks, but Johnson Kelly, his former chief of staff, later corroborated the story.

Biden and his campaign have talked about the alleged comments on the campaign trail.

The campaign argues it shows Trump does not care about veterans or military service members, per The Hill.
