President Donald Trump has his sights set on the Gaza Strip and showed his vision with a post on Truth Social.
The post, created with artificial intelligence, shows “Trump Gaza,” per the Daily Wire.
The vision includes high-rise hotels, beaches, belly dancers, Elon Musk smiling as he eats on a beach, a grandiose statue of Trump and a shot of Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sitting in the sun.
Trump said earlier this month what he had planned for the Gaza Strip.
“The U.S. will take over the Gaza Strip and we will do a job with it, too. We’ll own it,” Trump said. “I think we will be a great keeper of something that is very, very strong, very powerful, and very, very good for the area, not just for Israel, for the entire Middle East. There will be jobs for everyone.”
“Everyone I have spoken to loves the idea of the United States owning that piece of land, developing and creating thousands of jobs with something that will be magnificent,” he said. “I think the potential in the Gaza Strip is unbelievable and I think representatives from all over the world will be there.” he said.
Trump added Gaza is prime to become the “Riviera of the Middle East.”
He added a couple days later, “The Gaza Strip would be turned over to the United States by Israel at the conclusion of fighting. The Palestinians, people like Chuck Schumer, would have already been resettled in far safer and more beautiful communities, with new and modern homes, in the region. They would actually have a chance to be happy, safe, and free,” he said “The U.S., working with great development teams from all over the World, would slowly and carefully begin the construction of what would become one of the greatest and most spectacular developments of its kind on Earth. No soldiers by the U.S. would be needed! Stability for the region would reign!!!”
Some Gaza residents are open to the idea.
“It is our right in Gaza to have freedom of movement and travel,” a 22-year-old law student said. “In light of the suffering by the people of Gaza, the need to travel has become urgent, as it is no longer suitable for living a dignified life as other people live.”
“We want to feel safe and secure — to feel stability and live a normal life.”
A male who was interviewed said he can get behind emigrating if he can return to Gaza.
“That’s how most people in Gaza feel — because right now Gaza is uninhabitable,” he said. “Some areas are nearly destroyed, others are completely destroyed.”
