Former President Donald Trump offered a generous and personal gesture of relief to one lucky shopper at a Pennsylvania grocery store.
During Monday’s appearance at Sprankles Neighborhood Market in Kittanning, Pennsylvania, Trump had a heartwarming and unexpected moment with a mom.
“Here, it’s going to go down a little bit,” Trump said as he handed her a $100 bill. Trump’s communications team identified the woman as a mother of three.
Trump added, “It just went down 100 bucks.”
“Thank you so much,” the woman responded.
“We’ll do that for you from the White House, alright?” Trump said.

While making his way through the aisles, his attention was caught by a large bag of popcorn. “Oh, look, I gotta get some. We gotta get it,” he said.
Trump asked, “Is this stuff good?” and quickly followed with a promise: “If it is, I’ll be sending, I’ll be in Washington D.C., hopefully in the Oval Office, I’ll send for popcorn.”
The Republican presidential candidate also met with the owner of the local grocery store to discuss the impact of inflation on local businesses.
Trump asked how the store does against the bigger stores, to which the owner responded, “You know, I’m very proud because every year we went up, except for the last three years because of this inflation. It’s exactly what you said, prices are up, but our sales are down so we’ve had to get super creative on how to use our space.”
