Former President Donald Trump has joined another platform. Users can now expect to see Trump’s videos on TikTok.

“The president is now on TikTok,” UFC CEO Dana White said in the video posted to Trump’s account over the weekend.

Trump responded, “It’s my honor.”

The video also featured clips from Trump’s attendance at the Ultimate Fighting Championship fight in New Jersey on Saturday evening.

He said at the end of the video, “That was a good walk-on, right?”

As of Monday morning, Trump’s account has 3.7 million followers, while President Joe Biden’s campaign account, Biden-Harris HQ, has roughly 345,600 followers.

As the Associated Press (AP) pointed out, Trump once tried to ban TikTok while he was president. Biden has also signed legislation seeking to ban TikTok in the U.S.

Speaking on the presumptive 2024 Republican presidential nominee’s decision to join TikTok, Trump spokesman Steven Cheung said in a statement, “We will leave no front undefended and this represents the continued outreach to a younger audience consuming pro-Trump and anti-Biden content,” per AP.

He added, “There’s no place better than a UFC event to launch President Trump’s Tik Tok, where he received a hero’s welcome and thousands of fans cheered him on.”
