Former President Donald Trump is fuming over the judge handling his hush money case in New York City.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump started wrote, “This conflicted, Trump Hating Judge won’t let me respond to people that are on TV lying and spewing hate all day long. He is running rough shod over my lawyers and legal team.”
“The New York System of ‘Justice’ is being decimated by critics from all over the World. I want to speak, or at least be able to respond. Election Interference! RIGGED, UNCONSTITUTIONAL TRIAL! Take off the Gag Order!!!” he added.

The post comes as Trump is already facing a hearing for violating the gag order. As Axios notes, “He referred to Judge Juan Merchan in the Truth Social post as ‘the highly biased Judge in the Soros ‘appointed’ D.A. Alvin Bragg’s Witch Hunt Case.'”
“On Monday afternoon, Trump reshared a video of far-right activist Laura Loomer criticizing Merchan’s wife’s purported work with New York Attorney General Letitia James and former Trump attorney Michael Cohen’s ties to people connected to Trump’s political foes,” he added.
He also called Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg “corrupt.”
It is understandable the former president would be upset and want to fight back. This case is ridiculous and based on an untested legal theory — and it should not have been brought.
But, it has to be said, Trump likely wouldn’t be in the position of having a gag order if he could exercise some self-control and not act like a crazy person addicted to social media who posts whatever bizarre thought or frustration pops into his head the second it does.
However, he appears to be wanting in the area.
And he may not think posting attacks on the judge or other people involved in the case are anything but funny memes. But witness tampering is a crime, and if you believe the prosecution is just out to get you, then why on earth would you give them even more fodder and content to claim he is trying to instill fear in witnesses or stir up death threats?
He should be acting above reproach. Instead, he’s acting like a five-year-old who was told he can’t get a toy in the store.
If these trials and prosecutions are really a weaponization of the justice system, the best thing he could do would be to stop talking, stop posting, wake in up in court, and let his lawyers do their work, and let the facts speak for themselves.
