President Donald Trump thinks former President Barack Obama knows something about Joe Biden that is keeping him from endorsing his vice president.
“It does amaze me that President Obama hasn’t supported Sleepy Joe,” Trump said during a press conference at the White House on Wednesday.
He continued, “It just hasn’t happened. When’s it going to happen? When is it going to happen? He knows something that you don’t know.”
“I think I know, but you don’t know,” Trump added.

Trump appeared to be referring claims that Biden is “senile,” an attack he has regularly lobbed at his Democratic opponent throughout the campaign.
Since the beginning of the primary season, Obama said that he would not endorse a candidate — which was seen by some as a snub of Biden who served as his vice president for two terms.
However, Biden has maintained that he does not need Obama’s endorsement. Instead, Biden claimed that he asked Obama not to endorse him.
Additionally, Biden said that he felt he had to “earn” the nomination “on my own.”
“It isn’t hurting me, and I don’t think it’s time. He and I have talked about this from the very beginning. I have to earn this on my own.”
Trump’s comments come hours after Sen. Bernie Sanders (Vt.) announced that he was suspending his campaign for the Democratic presidential nomination, as IJR has previously reported.
Now that Sanders dropped out, Democratic operatives are hoping Obama will start getting involved in the election.
The Hill reported that in recent days, Obama has been in contact with Biden and Sanders. Additionally, sources close to Obama say the former president is “eager” to get involved in the election.
