President Donald Trump said it would be a “great honor” if María Corina Machado were to give him her Nobel Peace Prize — even though he doesn’t think she can lead Venezuela.

Trump spoke with Fox News’ Sean Hannity Thursday night about Machado saying earlier this week she would be open to giving her award to Trump. She dedicated the prize to Trump when she was announced as the winner.

“Let me ask you about Maria Corina Machado. I’ve had her on TV this week,” Hannity said.

“Yeah. She very nice person,” Trump responded.

“OK, she won the Nobel Peace Prize. When she accepted that Peace Prize, she dedicated it to you,” Hannity started.

“She said to me this week, both on TV and radio, that she wants to give the Nobel Prize, her Nobel Peace prize, to you for liberating her country.

In 2023, she won over 92% of the vote to be the leader of the opposition. Maduro kept her off the ballot. Do you have any plans to meet with her? And would you accept the Nobel Prize she wants to hand to you?” Hannity asked.

“Well, I understand she’s coming in next week sometime. And I look forward to saying hello to her, and I’ve heard that she wants to do that.

Should Trump accept the Nobel Peace Prize from María Corina Machado if offered?

That would be a great honor,” Trump said.

He then listed his qualifications for the prize.

“I did put out eight wars, eight and a quarter, because, you know, Thailand and Cambodia started going at it again,” Trump said.

“I’ll put the list up if you want to,” Hannity said.

“You put the list out as a hell of a list, but we I’ve stopped eight wars,” Trump replied.

Although Trump has claimed to have ended eight or nine wars, his claims have been debunked, per the outlet.

Last week, Trump said Machado doubted her chances of attaining leadership in Venezuela because she “doesn’t have respect” in her country.
