President Donald Trump has apparently added another title — “Acting President of Venezuela.”
Trump posted a screengrab from what appears to be a Wikipedia page Sunday night with has new title under has photo, per Mediaite.
On Jan. 3, Trump ordered a Delta Force strike on Venezuela that resulted on the capture of President Nicolás Maduro.
Maduro’s vice president — Delcy Rodriguez — became acting president.
Should Trump be recognized as Acting President of Venezuela?
Trump told Fox News’s last week he will allow elections to take place in Venezuela “eventually.”
Before that happens, “We’re gonna rebuild the oil and the oil infrastructure,” Trump added.
Trump also said he told oil companies about his plans before the invasion.
