Former President Donald Trump is blasting NBC News after it fired former Republican National Committee Chair Ronna McDaniel as a contributor.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote, “Wow! Ronna McDaniel got fired by Fake News NBC. She only lasted two days, and this after McDaniel went out of her way to say what they wanted to hear. It leaves her in a very strange place, it’s called NEVER NEVERLAND, and it’s not a place you want to be.”
“These Radical Left Lunatics are CRAZY, and the top people at NBC ARE WEAK. They were BROKEN and EMBARRASSED by LOW RATINGS, HIGHLY OVERPAID, ‘TALENT.’ BRING BACK FREE AND FAIR PRESS – MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN 2024!” he added.

The post comes after NBC News announced it was parting ways with McDaniel amid the outrage over her being hired as a contributor.
In a memo the NBC staff on Tuesday, NBCUniversal News Group Chairman Cesar Conde said he had heard the “the legitimate concerns” about the decision to hire McDaniel.
“No organization, particularly a newsroom, can succeed unless it is cohesive and aligned,” Conde said.
He added, “Over the last few days, it has become clear that this appointment undermines that goal.”
The decision came just days after NBC announced it had hired McDaniel with the goal of providing “expert insight and analysis.”
However, the decision sparked an uproar and even on-air protests.
