While politicians are known for making promises while campaigning, former President Donald Trump offered a substantial one Wednesday night — to “heal our world.”

Trump’s words are in response to the deadly mass school shooting in Georgia earlier that day.

“It’s a sick and angry world for a lot of reasons and we’re going to make it better. We’re going to heal our world. We’re going to get rid of all these wars that are starting all over the place because of incompetence,” Trump said during a Fox News town hall in the New Holland Arena in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Two teachers and two students were killed at Apalachee High School, when Colt Gray, 14, allegedly started shooting around 10 a.m.

Nine others were injured.

Fox News’ Sean Hannity opened the discussion pertaining to gun violence, including the assassination attempt against Trump in July in Butler, Pennsylvania.

“We’re going to hopefully do very well. We have an election coming up … We’re going to be, I think, we’re going to be very well set up to do a great job,” Trump added.

Trump also posted about the shooting on Truth Social.

“Our hearts are with the victims and loved ones of those affected by the tragic event in Winder, GA,” Trump wrote. “These cherished children were taken from us far too soon by a sick and deranged monster.”

Gray, a student at the high school, will be charged with murder. He will be prosecuted as an adult, Georgia Bureau of Investigation Director Chris Hosey said.
