President Donald Trump is getting ready for Saturday’s military parade by getting thousands of costumes.
The parade will commemorate 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army. It is also Flag Day and Trump’s 79th birthday.
Peter Rothpletz reported on Don Lemon’s show that Trump is working with the Motion Picture Costuming Co. to get the costumes that will show the evolution of uniforms from the Revolutionary War to today, per Mediaite.
“We have tanks, we have planes, we have all sorts of things, and I think it is going to be great,” Trump told reporters about the parade. “We are going to celebrate our country for a change.”
On Tuesday, Trump said any protesters will be met “with very big force,” IJR reported.
“If there’s any protester wants to come out, they will be met with very big force,” Trump said. “For those people that want to protest, they will be met with very big force. And I haven’t even heard about a protest.”
“But, you know, this is — people that hate our country. But they will be met with a very heavy force,” the president added.
