President Donald Trump will undoubtedly have a lot to say during his speech tonight before a joint session of Congress in what is being billed as “The Renewal of the American Dream.”
The speech will take place at 9 a.m. Tuesday EST.
Much has happened since Trump returned to the White House on Jan. 20. This includes signing more than 200 executive orders his first day back as he continues his “Make America Great Again” policies, Fox News reported.
“The Renewal of the American Dream” has four main facets, White House officials said.
They are: what Trump has done both foreign and domestic in his second administration to date; what the administration has done regarding the economy; the president’s push to get more money from Congress for border security; and the president’s plans for peace around the world.
Since Trump has only been back in office a couple of months, tonight’s speech won’t officially be called the “State of the Union” since that is reserved for speeches given after a president has been in office a year and touts what has been accomplished in that year.
Tonight’s address “will be must-see TV,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said, building the excitement.
“President Trump has accomplished more in one month than any president in four years, and the renewal of the American Dream is well underway,” she said. “In his joint address to Congress, President Trump will celebrate his extraordinarily successful first month in office while outlining his bold, ambitious and commonsense vision for the future.”
Trump will go over the “accomplishments from his extraordinarily successful first month in office, both here at home and abroad,” White House officials said.
The president will also review what his administration has done and continues to do to “fix the economic mess created by the Biden administration and end inflation for all Americans.”
Regarding foreign policy, Trump will explain what he wants to do “to restore peace around the world.”
Trump will outline his plans to end the war between Russia and Ukraine.
Trump is building the excitement by posting on social media Monday morning.
“Tomorrow night will be big. I will tell it like it is!” he wrote.
A White House official told Fox News Digital, “As always, President Trump will keep it real and speak the truth.”
