Former President Donald Trump insists many people ask him how he puts his pants on in the morning.
During a rare rally in the Bronx on Thursday evening, Trump said, “Some of the greatest days of my business career were the toughest times. But I enjoyed waking up every single morning and going to battle.”
“A lot of people say to me today — the toughest business people, people that you know about — ‘Could I ask you a question, how do you do it? I said do what? ‘How do you get up in the morning and put your pants on?” he continued. “I’ll explain it to you someday.”

Trump’s rally was notable as it was the first in over 40 years a Republican presidential nominee to campaign in the Bronx.
Additionally, it was the first time since 2016 he held a rally in New York State.
The New York Post reports thousands of fans tried to show up for the former president, however, only 3,500 were allowed into the park.
Teacher Paget Jones told the Post, “He represents us, the blacks in this city and in the world. He’s a real Nelson Mandela.”
“The fact that I like Trump and why a lot of black people are out here in the Bronx for Trump is because Trump is a fighter. Trump has that God factor. They prosecuted him, they lied about him!” she added.
The event came as the trial involving charges against Trump for allegedly paying hush money to adult film star Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 election is expected to wrap up next week.
Reuters points out that while he is facing charges in several other cases involving attempts to overturn the 2020 election, and his handling of classified documents, the hush money case is likely to be the only trial he will see ahead of the 2024 election.
