If the Nov. 5 wasn’t enough of an indication how much voters like President-elect Donald Trump, even more like him now.
A new poll shows Trump’s favorability rating has jumped by six points in the weeks since the election, The Hill reported.
According to an Emerson College poll, which was released Tuesday, revealed Trump’s favorability rating sits at 54%, a jump from the 48% he had before the election.
The breakdown is as follows: 61% favorability by men and 48% favorability by women.
By race, 59% of white voters see Trump in a favorable light. The rating by Hispanic voters is 53% and a mere 28% of Black voters view Trump favorably.
The poll also covered the age category.
In the under 30 lot, 55% favor Trump. That number increases to 60% for voters in their 40s and 50s. Forty-eight percent over 70 view him favorably.
As far as the results from Nov. 5 election, 46% of voters were surprised Trump beat Vice President Kamala Harris.
Regarding those who voted for Harris, 67% were surprised by the results; 71% of Trump voters said they were not surprised.
The poll was conducted from Nov. 20 to 22.
There were 1,000 voters who participated in the poll, which has a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.
