President Donald Trump youngest son Barron Trump received a loud reception during the president’s inauguration celebrations Monday, after being credited for bringing in the youth vote.
“My big, tall son Barron, has anyone ever heard of him?” Trump asked the crowd at the Capitol One Arena.
Barron Trump, who was only 10-years old when his father first became president in 2016, is now an 18-year-old NYU student who towers over his father and siblings at a reported 6 feet, 7 inches tall.
The crowd erupted once Barron Trump was mentioned by his father during the celebrations, who then stood to wave at the crowd, placing his hand behind his ear when they began chanting his name.
President Trump then noted it was Barron Trump who helped his campaign win the youth vote, by encouraging his father to appear on the shows of popular streamers and podcasters like Joe Rogan and Kai Cenat.
“He knew the youth vote. You know, we won the youth vote by 36-points, and he was saying ‘Dad, you gotta go out and do this one or that one,’ and we did a lot of them, and he respects them all,” Trump said. “He understood them very well. And he said, ‘Dad, you gotta go out, do Joe Rogan, do all these guys,’ and we did. We did and Joe Rogan was great, they were all great, right? Barron? They were all good. He understood the market.”
