Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) seems to have had a bit of a difficult time getting through an event.

During an event on Wednesday, Ocasio-Cortez was interrupted by hecklers.

One video showed people chanting, “AOC has got to go!”

A man among the hecklers appears to have brought a drum to the event.

While they were chanting, the video showed AOC sitting on the stage behind her performing a little dance apparently to poke fun at them.

“Very classy. Thank you, sir. Thank you, sir,” she appears to say to one of the hecklers.

How absolutely humiliating.

Another video showed the Congresswoman speaking to a heckler as she said, “Ma’am you’re saying ask us why… We know. We know why you’re mad. Let’s talk about it.”

The lady continued yelling.

Someone then turned off the lights in the room.

Ocasio-Cortez left the main room but could be seen standing in a backstage area.

Eventually, the lights were turned back on, and she returned to the main room.

“I’m just not allowed to be in a room with the lights turned off,” she explained. “It gets a little…”

Last week the progressive star was targeted by hecklers over her support of Ukraine, as IJR reported.
