Watch: Italian Prime Minister Retrieves Biden As He Wanders Away From World Leaders at the G-7 Summit

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni had to go on a rescue mission to retrieve President Joe Biden as he wandered away from a group of world leaders.

During the G-7 summit on Thursday, the world leaders in attendance were seen watching a skydiving flag ceremony.

At one point, Biden appeared to be distracted by one of the officers and wandered away from the group.

French President Emmanuel Macron, Meloni, and others noticed Biden had strayed from them and appeared to confer about whether they should try to retrieve the president.

Eventually, Meloni walked over and got Biden’s attention by touching his arm. He then turned around as the group of leaders moved closer to him.
