Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) is calling on people to “fight back” following President Donald Trump’s repeated remarks regarding mail-in voting.
“Trump put Postmaster DeJoy in charge of the postal service to dismantle the USPS [and] sabotage vote by mail,” Waters tweeted on Monday. “New procedures are causing massive delays.”
The Democratic lawmaker — who is a frequent critic of the president — then claimed Trump and Republicans “don’t believe in free [and] fair elections.”
She continued, “They’ll lie, cheat, [and] steal to stay in power. We’ve got to fight back!”

Trump recently suggested the idea of delaying the 2020 presidential election, as he claimed “universal mail-in voting” will lead to “the most INACCURATE [and] FRAUDULENT Election in history,” as IJR reported.
“Delay the Election until people can properly, securely and safely vote???” Trump tweeted on July 30.
Despite the claims about mail-in voting, there is no evidence of widespread fraud. Additionally, several lawmakers have made it clear the president does not have the power to delay the election.
With Universal Mail-In Voting (not Absentee Voting, which is good), 2020 will be the most INACCURATE & FRAUDULENT Election in history. It will be a great embarrassment to the USA. Delay the Election until people can properly, securely and safely vote???

Mail-In Voting is already proving to be a catastrophic disaster. Even testing areas are way off. The Dems talk of foreign influence in voting, but they know that Mail-In Voting is an easy way for foreign countries to enter the race. Even beyond that, there’s no accurate count!

The president then said during a press conference afterward that he does not want to see a date change during the election.
President Trump on delaying election: "Do I want to see a date change? No. But I don't want to see a crooked election. This election will be the most rigged election in history if that happens."

White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows on Sunday was asked if Trump was serious about a possible change to the election, where he told CBS News, “All of this that we’re talking about comes down to one thing. Universal mail-in ballots. That is not a good idea for the country.”
Meadows also added, “He has not looked at delaying any election.”
