Whoopi Goldberg, a co-host of ABC’s “The View,” is questioning why former President Donald Trump would be in court in the first place if he is not guilty of any of the charges against him.
During a segment on Wednesday, Goldberg asked, “I just think, if you didn’t do it, why are you in the court?”
Co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin chimed into suggested Trump should testify in his defense if he is not guilty.
Goldberg pressed on:
“You brought this on yourself! You did this to you. Nobody did this to you. You told the untruth, you took stuff. This is on you! This isn’t them, it isn’t the judge. It is yours!”

Trump is facing charges for hush money he paid ahead of the 2016 election, his handling of classified documents, and his efforts to overturn the 2020.
He has maintained the prosecutions are political witch hunts.
