Whoopi Goldberg revealed there was a “fake” list of names associated with deceased pedophile Jeffrey Epstein with her name on it amid a wave of court documents being unsealed related to Epstein.
After bringing up the news of the unsealed documents from Wednesday, “The View” co-host Sunny Hostin made the point that while “numerous Epstein associates and public figures” had been mentioned in the documents relating to the litigation between Virginia Giuffre, an alleged victim of Epstein’s, and Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s partner, it didn’t mean they had done anything wrong.
“We shouldn’t be repeating names that are on the list because just because your name has, not on the list, but in the documents, just because your name’s on the documents doesn’t mean that you have done anything criminally irresponsible or illegal or civilly irresponsible,” Hostin pointed out. “Or that you were a client. Only really these documents as I read them, only reflect Epstein’s sexual assaults of women and his sexual behavior.”
Goldberg interjected after Hostin added, “Being named in the suit does not equate to being accused of wrongdoing and I think that is extremely important because conspiracy theorists seem to not understand or enjoy fact,” revealing that there was a “fake list” that had surfaced.

“Let me bring that up,” Goldberg said. “The conspiracy theory folks, because you know, I have to explain, there was a fake list….and I’m on it.”
“So, you were on the island?” Hostin asked Goldberg.
Goldberg responded by saying how people said she had been on Epstein’s private island, arguing that she doesn’t “go anywhere.”
“I’m just going to say, there’s been a lot of stuff recently, I don’t know what I’ve done to anybody, apparently there are a lot of these, these kind of sites that are – what do you call them – they’re satire sites,” Goldberg added. “But people don’t realize that they can be harmful.”
Goldberg continued on to air out various rumors or untrue stories about her. “I never got kicked out of Gordon Ramsey’s restaurant. I never got kicked out of Guy Fieri’s restaurant. I didn’t get kicked off Bill Maher’s show. I didn’t get into a fight with Oprah backstage here at ‘The View.’ I mean it just goes, it’s insane. It goes on and on and on.”
