Alison Holker, widow of dancer and DJ Stephen “tWitch” Boss, has spoken out two months after his death.
On Feb. 18, Holker posted a video on her Instagram page thanking fans “for all the love and support” they have given to her and her family “during this time.”
“It has been very challenging and emotional,” she added. “But you guys have brought so much hope and inspiration to us by sharing stories and memories and moments and different ways that Stephen impacted your life and it’s brought us so much hope and inspiration.”
Holker continued to describe her late husband as someone who “was just beautiful.” She said, “He lived his life from love.”
She added, “He made you feel a certain way.”
“I hope you guys remember how special you are and how much of an impact you make around the world. Continue to move from there. We love you guys,” she concluded.
In December 2022, Boss died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was 40 years old.
Holker confirmed the tragic news in an exclusive statement to People.
“It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share my husband Stephen has left us. Stephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him,” she shared.
She called Boss “the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans.”
“We ask for privacy during this difficult time for myself and especially for our 3 children. Stephen, we love you, we miss you, and I will always save the last dance for you,” she concluded.
The couple were married in 2013 and they have two children together. Holker has a 14-year-old daughter from a previous marriage.
