About 1972 Series
The 1972 series of Danish Banknotes are part of the physical form of Denmark's currency, the Danish Krone (kr.), which have been issued solely by Danmarks Nationalbank since 1 August 1818. The series was printed from 1972 until they were replaced by the 1997 series. As of 2025, they are no longer legal tender.
