Alberto M. Carvalho MedM is a Portuguese-American educator and the former superintendent of the Los Angeles Unified School District from 2022 to 2026. He served as superintendent of Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS), the fourth-largest school district in the United States, beginning in 2008.
