About Anthony Abdy
Brigadier-General Anthony John Abdy was an English first-class cricketer and an officer in the British Army. In the army, he served with the Royal Artillery from 1876 to 1918, seeing action in the Mahdist, Second Boer, and First World War's. In cricket, he played at first-class level for Hampshire County Cricket Club.
