Nationals recall Brady House after Curtis Mead trade
The Nationals recalled Brady House from Triple-A Rochester to fill the vacant third-base spot after Curtis Mead was traded to Boston, with the hope he can become an everyday contributor for a potential postseason push. House hit .300/.344/.498 with eight homers and 33 RBI in Rochester, after posting a .227 major-league mark earlier this season as he eyes a steadier role in Washington.
