Former Blue Jays Pitcher Brian Wolfe Dies at 45
Brian Wolfe, a former Toronto Blue Jays pitcher who also played nine seasons in Japan, died at age 45 with his wife announcing the death on Sept. 15 after a long illness; he appeared in 72 MLB games for Toronto from 2007-2009 before building a substantial career in Nippon Professional Baseball. Tributes from friends and former teammates followed the announcement of his passing.
