About Cassandra
In Greek mythology, Cassandra, also spelled Kassandra or Casandra, was a Trojan priestess dedicated to the god Apollo and fated by him to utter true prophecies, but never to be believed. Cassandra lived through the Trojan War and survived the sack of the city, but was murdered by Clytemnestra and Aegisthus when Agamemnon brought her to Mycenae as a pallake.
