Lambir Hills hiker found safe after search
The body of 18-year-old Lily Hooper was recovered in Nattai National Park after an eight-day search, following an initial erroneous report that she had been found alive. NSW officials, including Premier Chris Minns and Police Commissioner Mal Lanyon, apologized for the miscommunication over police codes and the mistaken live-find announcement, with investigations into the error underway and a post-mortem planned.
