About Democratic Party
The Democratic Party is a centre-left, social-democratic political party in Italy, led by Elly Schlein as secretary and Stefano Bonaccini as president. Since its foundation, it has been the main centre-left force in the country, and it is currently one of Italy's two major parties, opposing Brothers of Italy.
