About FAR Rabat
The Royal Armed Forces Sports Association, commonly known as AS FAR, is a Moroccan professional football club based in Rabat. Founded on 1 September 1958 at the initiative of then-Crown Prince Moulay Hassan, who served as Supreme Commander of the Royal Moroccan Armed Forces, the club was established to represent the military institution and contribute to the development of Moroccan football. AS FAR competes in Botola Pro, the top tier of Moroccan football, and has never been relegated from the top division since its promotion in the 1959–60 season. The club traditionally wears black, red, and green, and plays its home matches at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.
