Donkey on the loose injures three in northern Germany near Cuxhaven

A runaway donkey named Freddy in Holssel, south of Cuxhaven, attacked two motorists and a bystander who tried to restrain it, then jumped into a van before the situation ended when the animal’s owner arrived to secure it a police statement said; a 33-year-old woman was hospitalized and the motorists sustained minor injuries, with the cause of the aggression not yet clear.
