Red Sox beat Angels 5-2, pull within two games of Yankees
Boston kept its hot streak, powering to a 5-2 win over the Angels as Brayan Bello returned with five scoreless innings while Adley Rutschman and Jarren Duran supplied the power in a game that helped fuel a broader run of success. In a separate Sunday game, Payton Tolle struck out 12 over six innings to spark a 3-1 win over Baltimore, with Aroldis Chapman earning his 400th career save as Boston pushed its winning ways through a four-game Orioles sweep and continued bullpen depth, aided by White’s three-run homer.
