Burton Replaces Herbst at Daytona; Heim to 2027 Seat
23XI Racing announced Riley Herbst will miss the Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona due to lingering effects from last weekend’s incident, with Harrison Burton stepping into the No. 35 Toyota for the race. Burton, who won the 2024 Daytona summer event and last competed regularly in Cup, will run in place of Herbst in the final race of the regular season at Daytona.

About Harrison Burton
Harrison Brian Burton is an American professional stock car racing driver. He competes full-time in the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series, driving the No. 24 Toyota GR Supra for Sam Hunt Racing and part-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, driving the No. 5 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro for Tricon Garage. He is also the reserve driver for Legacy Motor Club in the NASCAR Cup Series in 2026. He is the son of former NASCAR driver Jeff Burton. In 2020, Burton became the first driver born in the 2000s or later to win a NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series race, and in 2024 became the first to win a NASCAR Cup Series race.
