NHTSA closes Jeep fire probe after 1.08M recall
U.S. regulators closed their preliminary investigation into reports of fires in parked Jeep Wranglers and Gladiators after Stellantis recalled about 1.08 million vehicles to address a potential power-steering-pump wiring hazard. NHTSA will continue monitoring the repairs and may take further action if needed.
