About John Knatchbull
John Graham Knatchbull was a Royal Navy officer who served in the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars. He later became a convict who was transported to New South Wales in 1824, where Knatchbull was convicted of murder in January 1844 and executed in Sydney.
