Braves release Kyle Farmer, activate Yastrzemski from IL
The Atlanta Braves released veteran infielder Kyle Farmer after activating outfielder Mike Yastrzemski from the injured list, trimming Farmer from the roster following a limited, injury-interrupted tenure. Farmer, a 10-year veteran with modest production, could become a free agent if he clears waivers, while Yastrzemski returns to the lineup after a stint on the 10-day IL.
