About Mary Howe
Mary Howe was an American operatic soprano, well known in Germany in the 1880s and 1890s. She inherited her musical talents from her father, a choir leader, and chorister, and received early training from a brother, who was a pianist. Howe retired from the stage in 1905 and died in 1952.
