Maryam Nawaz Sharif is a Pakistani politician who has served as the 19th chief minister of Punjab since 26 February 2024. She is the first woman to hold the position of chief minister in Pakistan, assuming office following the 2024 elections, which were disputed amid widespread allegations of electoral rigging.
