About Matt Mahan
Matthew William Mahan is an American technology entrepreneur and politician serving as the 67th mayor of San Jose, California since 2023. A member of the Democratic Party, he previously served as a member of the San Jose City Council from 2021 until 2023. He was the co-founder and CEO of Brigade Media, a technology company focused on civic engagement, and was a candidate in the 2026 California gubernatorial election.
