Xavi Leaves Depay Out of First Netherlands Squad
New Netherlands coach Xavi Hernandez omits Memphis Depay from his first Netherlands squad for Nations League fixtures, while naming Ruben van Bommel and Gjivai Zechiël and keeping Virgil van Dijk in the squad for multiple tests. The reshuffle signals a rebuild under Xavi, pairing returning players like Joey Veerman with fresh faces as the Oranje prepare for Germany, Serbia, and Greece across four matches.
