About Monsignor McClancy Memorial High School
Monsignor McClancy Memorial High School is a co-educational Catholic high school located in the East Elmhurst neighborhood of Queens, New York. Founded by the Brothers of the Sacred Heart in 1956, Msgr. McClancy Memorial High School serves the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn. The school is named for Joseph V. McClancy, who was Superintendent of Schools. Originally a boys school, they began accepting female students in 2012. As of 2024, the school provides education for approximately 800 students from grades 9 to 12. Admissions is open to any student of any ethnicity and of any faith, but requires TACHS scores from students entering from the 8th grade; students on other levels contact the school directly.
