About NGC 7634
NGC 7634 is a barred lenticular galaxy in the constellation of Pegasus. Its velocity with respect to the cosmic microwave background is 2,844±32 km/s, which corresponds to a Hubble distance of 136.8 ± 9.8 Mly (41.94 ± 2.99 Mpc). However, six non-redshift measurements give a farther mean distance of 175.47 ± 5.89 Mly (53.800 ± 1.805 Mpc). It was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel on 26 September 1785.
