Penske Automotive Group Take-Private Bid Reported
Penske Automotive Group received an unsolicited, non-binding proposal from Penske Corporation and Mitsui to acquire the remaining shares it does not own for $210 per share in cash, valuing PAG at about $13.8 billion and prompting the board to form a special committee to review the offer. With Penske and Mitsui together owning roughly 72% of PAG, the proposal is contingent on definitive agreements and advisers, and shareholders are not required to act at this time.
