Sathi is a 2002 Indian Bengali-language musical romantic drama film directed by Haranath Chakraborty. Produced by Shrikant Mohta and Mahendra Soni under the banner of Shree Venkatesh Films. Thematically inspired by Charlie Chaplin's 1931 classic City Lights, it stars Jeet, making his debut, alongside Ranjit Mallick and Priyanka Upendra in lead roles, with a supporting cast including Sumitra Mukherjee, Kanchan Mullick and Anamika Saha. The film follows the tragic journey of Bijoy, a struggling singer, who comes to Kolkata to find his love Sonali, being released from jail after five years due to false accusations of carrying firearms.
