About Terje Søviknes
Terje Søviknes is a Norwegian politician for the Progress Party who has served as the mayor of Bjørnafjorden Municipality since 2023. He previously served as minister of petroleum and energy from December 2016 to August 2018. From December 2019 to January 2020 he was the minister of the elderly and public health. He also serves as the party's second deputy leader since 2019, a post he previously held from 1999 to 2001.
