About The Invasion
The Invasion is the third serial of the sixth season of the British science fiction television series Doctor Who, which was first broadcast on BBC1 in eight weekly parts from 2 November to 21 December 1968. In the serial, Tobias Vaughn, the head of the successful electronics company, forms an alliance with the Cybermen to conquer Earth. The Doctor and his companions, Jamie McCrimmon and Zoe Heriot, team up with UNIT, headed by Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart, to combat the invasion.
