About Thomas Reed
Thomas J. Reed Sr. was an American civil rights activist, restauranteur, and politician who served in the Alabama House of Representatives from 1970 to 1988, and 1995 to 1997, as a member of the Democratic Party. He served as president of the Alabama NAACP from 1969 to 1979, and 1985 to 1989.
