WestJet flight attendants ratify three-year contract
WestJet flight attendants represented by CUPE Local 8125 have overwhelmingly ratified a tentative three-year contract that includes more than 18% in wage increases and new ground-work compensation, following a summer disruption that included strike threats and a partial network shutdown. Separately, BC court-approved settlement resolves a harassment-class action involving WestJet flight attendants, offering about $470 per claimant to more than 3,400 current and former female employees, without admitting liability.
